Spacious beautiful room, fantastic view of the Mosel & grapevines and delicious food make this a great place to stay. However what really sets this hotel apart is the staff‘s desire to give 110% in making you feel at home. Despite only finding out that my girlfriend has a gluten allergy when we checked in late at night, they spent all night learning and baking bread so they could surprise her with gluten-free bread in the morning! Unbelievable experience with absolutely wonderful staff that go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and happy.

Great place to stay Everything was perfect The rooms are clean, renovated and comfortable- we reserved 2 rooms the first for 3 adults and the second for a couple with a 2 year old child Outside you will find parking, a playground we all sat there and then walked around between the vineyards with an amazing view of the river Dinner was exeptional with a menu chosen by the chef daily- you will have to tell them up front if you will be having dinner at the restaurant very recommended it was perfect

Rooms: clean and spacious. Bathroom: new, modern, clean and spacious Dinner: superb 👌. Breakfast: quite good. Only detraction might be that the number of warm dishes was limited. (Not the quantity of one item but the number of different types). Of course, of the warm dishes provided, the taste was great and quantity was plentiful. Sauna: loved it. The setup was extremely well planned and the atmosphere was great; very relaxing and soothing. The temperature of the sauna was good and high, and they provided a water bucket, ladle and essential oils. I especially loved the twinkling stary night sky recreated in the relaxation room. Massage area: I didn't try this service but the room was beautiful arranged, setting a very calming atmosphere. Access: there is lift access to all levels of the hotel within and also from the roadside (you need your room card to access the lift from the roadside). When you first arrive, if you need a wheelchair access, just ask/call the reception. Service: the service was superb 👏 👌. All the staff members are extremely friendly, attentive and very helpful.

The staff was very friendly, they asked several times if everything was ok. The hotel was a short 5 minute drive from Cochem, beautiful vineyards right behind the hotel. For me personally it is very important that the rooms are super clean. I have never seen such a clean hotel room. We had a nice terrace overlooking the vineyard. We will definitely go back!

All that glitters is not gold. First impressions were wow then reality comes. No information in the "information folder" - when is breakfast? What is the wifi code? Restaurant was closed on our day so no food or drinks. No tea making facilities. You are shown to your room and given a long winded speech about the room. Told to not open the windows because of triple glass windows and a air circulation system. That was the stuffiest room I have ever been in! It was 30 degrees on that day!!There is no locked room for bikes, they are just under the stairs by the road. This was the most expensive hotel on our journey and by far the worst for the price. One positive, the breakfast.
